No more Musburger salivating about SEC on air

Noobs won't remember, but he was a YUGE declarer that WE were THE national champions in 1990 and has always given us respect.

Musburger has always been one of my favorites -going all the way back to the NFL Today in the '70's. The '91 Citrus Bowl and '14 Orange Bowl have already been brought up -I took a Casio mini TV to the Citrus Bowl and recall Musburger declaring GT Nat'l Champs at the end of the game -thought that was tremendous, and I really enjoyed his call of the Orange Bowl, "They Can't Stop It Folks" and he was also pointed about GT steamrolling an SEC team.

It stands to reason that the Joe Mixon comments were the reason for his "retirement," but also, Brent is now 77 years old, plus he was pulled from ABC's Game of the Week three years ago. I'll miss, "You Are Looking Live," but it is probably time to call it a day.
