This feels like the Christmas Day Truce in WW I when the British and Germans set aside the hostilities and enjoyed some comraderie for a day before resuming the trench warefare. I'll say it "Merry Christmas, even to you Jackets". and God bless us, everyone .

The Germans had the slogan "Gott Mit Uns" (God With Us) on their helmets in WWI. The American boys used to yell at them across no-man's land: "Hey, we got mittens too!"

By the way, I'm leaving for Minneapolis to attend the wedding of a 75 yr-old aunt. The predicted high for our stay is 31 degrees. Low will only be 8. We empty the grocery stores for that kind of weather down here!

GTT, a very appropriate message for Christmas. It is a special time of the year. I guess I enjoy the Christmas Carols regarding the birth of the Savior the most during this time of the year.
