noon ACC games thread (Clem/BC, UNC/ECU, Duke/Kan)

Duke beating a top 25 team on the road would be very impressive for them. I have a feeling they will screw something up in the second half and come out with a very nice moral victory.We SHOULD be able to run on UNC also as others have said if we cannot whip their Oline we are going to have a long season. Clemson is a solid football team. Their D-line is better than UM.
 
Clemson already up 10-0 gets a fumble inside the ted yd line. They might run away with this one. BC can't move the ball.
 
I think the Clemson win for us is going to make us look better. We have issues but the boys were tired too.
Give it time people, we are building something here.
The funny thing is at work Friday, I was ragged so much you'd thought we Tech fans were preseason number 1"s and claiming to win it all. Maybe that says that others now fear us a little?
 
UNC ECU game starting to look like a Big 12 shootout.

Duke and Kansas still tied at 7. I checked the box score and there are no turnovers and the stats are pretty much even. Looks like Duke came to play today. So far.
 
Kansas leads 13-7 (missed PAT).

Clemson is having trouble scoring TDs and leads 16-0.

UNC leads Skippy's Pirates 21-14.
 
Even though they're only getting FGs, they are still looking damn good against BC. I say they win the Atlantic.
 
Hmm. We need UNC to lose, right? Or at least not play well. They seem to be doing alright though.

I'd prefer they win. Looks better for the conference and sets them up for a fall next Saturday.
 
Remember back in 2007 when Matt Ryan came to Atlanta and torched us? I was at that game thinking, "Man, I hope someday our passing game is as good as BC's."

Well, we're here! Our passing game is definitely as good as BC's this year.
 
On a plus side for us, Clemson defense is for real, at least it looks like so far. BC has 1 first down, I think.

Clemson yet to score an offensive TD against BC. They only scored one offensive TD against MTSU iirc. Against us, three.

Been watching parts of the game -- Clemson Defense came to play, it appears to me. Maybe we should not be so hard on our O -- especially after looking at those stats.
