Noon kickoff for UGA

I'd say it would suck being on the west coast no matter what time the kickoff is....

you would be WRONG. the left coast water is MUCH NICER than Coney Island, ill tell you that!

and my mom cheered for the Dodgers growing up... the BROOKLYN Dodgers

I meant on the day of the GT-U[sic]GA game it would be a bad place to be, because it is not the stadium. Obviously the west coast is a very nice place to live normally.

i see, yes on that day it is not a good place

one nice thing about west coast saturdays if you are a college football nut, is that you can get up in the morning and watch football ALL DAY, from 9am to dinner time, like i did when i lived in San Diego

college gameday is for the west coast!

I barely knew there was a "College Gameday" TV show when I lived on the west coast. It ran from 7am-9am so I was rarely awake.

Send a present in your place - have a local florist deliver some flowers to your seat in the church and tape a blown-up picture of your face on it. They deserve nothing better!

Don't you know I wish I could.

i meant the College Gameday ESPN College Football package that lets you watch like 24 games in the weekend, not the show, sorry for the confusion

So much for big tailgating plans in Athens. It looks like sausage and hash browns with bloody mary's. Option B: wait until after the game and plan to have a celebration tailgate and run a risk of disappointment.

Option C:
take friday off (many have it off anyways)

arrive the day before and get to bed around 6-7pm.

Get up at 2am. start drinking, then you have about 9 hours of drinking time before you have to make your way to the stadium. you could even "sleep in" to about 4 or 6am and still get 5-7 hours of drinking in. this is where you creativity counts!

Go with "The Perfect Option": pregame it with bloody marys AND postgame celebrate

I don't mind 9:00 AM games, here on the west coast. Kick back in your sweats, enjoy your bacon, eggs & coffee. Games over by lunch and you still have the rest of the afternoon to do whatever.

I'll be at a relative's wedding. Can you believe that the groom is a GT grad?

Obviously he IS the nerd image the rest of us have to fight on a daily basis. Thank him on behalf of all of us.
