Northern Illinois is Gonna Win the MAC

I feel so much better. It does underscore that winning breeds winning. The reverse is also true. This is especially true in football. Losses to Northern Illinois and The Citadel are not insignificant. The loss to the Huskies may have derailed Collins’ third season and turned NIU’s fortunes around. In a 12 game season they are all important until you fall out of bowl contention.

We would have won had Sims not gotten hurt.
Or.....if he kept playing like he was (and there was zero indication that he was coming out of his ööööty play That night), we would have gotten blown out by a mac team. And I am a Sims fan, i want him starting but he was so bad that night, he needed to be yanked if not for the injury.

Well he lost today’s game. So I guess the ice water ran out.

WAIT…double jinx-counter-attack?

I was gonna bump this saying I jinxed them. And right as I did Buffalo fumbles on the 1 yard line…IN OVERTIME WHEN THEY ONLY NEEDED A FG TO Win

Oh no Gameday tracker was messed up. Thought N Ill already had a possession in OT the missed FG was in regulation.

To be fair, you don't really get an indication. He may have gone off like he did when he came in against UNC, leading us to a comfortable win. Or he may have continued to play poorly.

Well, well, let's get this straight. The guy only makes about 20% of what Collins does, yet he beat Collins on our home field and might win the conference championship. Maybe we could trade with NIU?
