not again stephen hill

We showed a small portion in 2008.

I would guess with A. Allen, Roddy, and Dwyer there will be more "running" than "shooting". With that said we do need to develop at least a respectable passing game if we want to compete for Championships.

This is true and the only really logical reason someone has given as to why this might be a problem for us is that we aren't likely to recruit O linemen who are big, slow, pass blockers. In response, we get a QB like Luallen who rivals put as the #4 scrambler QB.

When we are successfully running our offense this should not be a problem. The physique/blocking style of our line will be offset because the d-line will have to play assignment football instead of rushing the passer.

You will see that the teams that stop our run (because they play discipline assignment football) will be the teams that are most vulnerable to the pass (VT). And vice versa (teams that go after the QB and lock up receivers will not be able to stop the run...cough cough Miami, cough cough ugay, f$u).

I didn't say it was a good reason, but I said it was the only one given that made any sense.
