Not buying the "3 games in 12 days" argument:

September 5th, we played Jax State. Starters had a lot of rest. Hell, we played THREE quarterbacks!

5 days later, Clemson. This game I could understand us being winded and so forth (see DMorgan).

Then we go back to the normal routine of playing a week later. It seems like we're making excuses. Some of us might be in denial, imo.

What say you?

People have been back and forth on this. Doesn't sound like it was really an issue though. I believe someone with inside info mentioned that the team didn't consider it a hindrance before the game.

Besides that, it's probably a good time to move on and not bring this up anymore. We've sulked about the Miami games and the timeline long enough. It's a new week. We have a new game to play Saturday. There's still time this season to make some noise. Focus on the future games.

It's a factor, and it contributed, but it's not an excuse. Miami getting two weeks off also contributed, and I think it's horse**** that the ACC scheduled like that for them.

But then again, Swofford is a dickless, spineless asshat, and his only goal is to get FSU and Miami into the ACCCG.

This has been discussed extensively already. You're a few days late on this topic. I think we are on to discussing UNC at GT this upcoming week.

Swofford may be dickless, but he most definitely is a dick as well.

I couldn't agree more. Its a factor but its not an excuse. Miami also had a favorable schedule and Swofford is a spineless asshat. Thank you for summarizing this very well.

All I can add is using the 3 games in 12 days argument is very Chanesque to me.

I'm not buying it because every team plays 3 games in 14 days every week.

And those 3 games are certainly can be tougher than our three in 12.

its a BS excuse.

Not trying to nitpick here, but for the record:

(all dates September)

5 JSU
6
7
8
9
10 CLEMSON
11
12
13
14
15
16
17 MIAMI

Every time I count, that's 13 days, not 12. We did NOT play 3 games in 12 days.

As has been said time and time again. Who cares if it is 3 in 12 or 3 in 13. The only difference between our beginning schedule and a typical 3 game stretch of all Saturday games is 2 games! That's it! And the 2 games were lost when pitting against Clemson.
