Not on ABC, Not on CBS, Not on Fox, Not on NBC, Not on ESPN, Not on ESPN2, Not on FS1, Not on FS2 and Not on ACCN

Do we have to have this thread every week? We’ve always had games on local/regional channels. It’s not a big deal.

I was in Kansas City last weekend and apparently our game was on their regular cable up there. I watched it streaming on my laptop on ESPN3.

Anybody that really wants to watch our games can see them. Nobody’s basing a recruiting decision on channel surfing across GT/BC (and the way we’ve been playing, not being easy to find probably helps recruiting - that’s probably also why we keep wearing unrecognizable navy unis).

Wrong.

Exposure is highly valuable.

Come to the game. You should be able to get tickets, You'll have plenty of room to spread out, and there isn't any buffering. See you there.

TV exposure does more than give fans who are not able to attend in person a way to follow the team. It also impacts recruiting.

The ACC may be stuck with a weak TV arrangement, but this is the fourth time we've been off of TV in many places this season. Has Tech's AD addressed this?

What I cannot understand is my masochistic desire to watch? I will find a way, because GT is my team, and I always do. But, it is painful, very, very painful to watch. To me, seeing a team underachieve, especially my team, is very difficult to watch. So, one way or the other, even if we are only on Mongolian TV, I will figure out a way to watch.

We’re not “off of TV” in the most important places (the southeast) and others besides (a Kansas City, apparently), and outside of those regions the game is available on ESPN streaming.

The Tech AD has NO POWER to address this.

Stansbury can't do anything about it

It's on Mid-Atlantic Sports Network which pretty much everybody in Maryland, DC, and Northern Virginia gets with their cable system.

Can you imagine what the fans of other ACC schools think when they see they're playing Tech this week? They must be pissed that their game will be consigned to a broadcast dead zone.

Of course the games against The Irish and The Dwags will be on real TV. If we're going to lose so damn much anyway, we might as well schedule all of our out of conference games against Bama, Texas, Florida, Ohio State, Michigan, etc. so at least someone other that existing die-hard Tech fans might accidentally watch us play.

That scheduling thingy might just work. I'd rather see us play against someone of that caliber as opposed to NIU, Citadel, Gardner Webb, KSU, or some directional school. I'd rather our guys have to play up to the competition in order to get a real feel about where they are and what they need to work on.

This is straight from the Atlanta Urinal and Constipation

Television: The game will be televised on the ACC regional network, which means Bally Sports South in the Atlanta TV market. Tom Werme will handle play-by-play, with James Bates as the analyst and Lauren Jbara as the sideline reporter.

Local radio: The game will be broadcast on the Georgia Tech Sports Network, heard in metro Atlanta this week on 680/93.7. Andy Demetra is handling play-by-play. Sean Bedford is the analyst, and Randy Waters is the sideline reporter.

Satellite radio: You can listen on SiriusXM Radio 136/194.

Online: BallySports.com (in the Atlanta market), WatchESPN.com (outside the Atlanta market) and RamblinWreck.com.

Why do you think it’s an “us” problem? Syracuse/Louisville is also on regional TV this week. Several other conference games are on ACCN, which I had to add a streaming service to get because of Comcast. Every game can’t be on ABC or ESPN.

If we want better TV, all we have to do is win.

And yet every PAC-12 game is on my TV . . . in Virginia.

Is Virginia the southeast? Do we not recruit from Virginia . . . or the DC area, for that matter. We should.

No one under 40 or with a triple digit IQ pays for cable TV.
I have no idea what your issue is. You whine about the game not being on TV when it is very on TV in your own back yard. Then you whine that its on a channel that you are too cheap to pay for.

Then figure out how to steal the signal (which is yet another skill you have failed to master) or shut the hell up.

Tech AD has no control. The ACC controls GT media rights.
