First, I am thrilled BJ Bostic is a Jacket, Welcome young man!!! Second, I stumbled across this picture of him and I can only hope its not his room (despite wearing Uga shorts)!!! Should we be proud he choose Tech despite growing up a huge Ugag fan, or did he choose us because they didn't offer?

Confused!! :ugh:

He grew up a Dawg fan just like Jordan Luallen. His room was decked in UGA gear just like Jordan Luallen. Now like Luallen he's a yellow jacket.

He's a plant!

At least for the time being, if we want to recruit in this state, we have to recruit kids who grew up Georgia fans.

Luallen is from Indiana isn't he? Was he a dawg fan in Indiana.

Luallen has family in GA. They are/were dawg fans. He went to a lot of UGA games thru the years.

Do some research next time.

There will be a day when kids grow up Tech fans, and go play for UGA because we won't take them.

No need for the hostility, he was just asking a question. The last sentence was unnecessary.

Let's put it in perspective. I grew up a Dawg fan, even though I attended as many GT games as UGA games.

My brother in law's dad was the David Pollack of his time at UGA, his cousin played for UGA, my brother in law thought for sure he'd be the next. He didn't get an offer and went to GT - - becoming 3rd all time tackle leader at GT. He never looked back and neither did his dad - who played for UGA. Nobody is a bigger GT fan than those two.

Like pulling for UGA, I also used to wet the bed, crap my pants, wear a diaper, and all kinds of things that I eventually grew out of.

Bostic will be ok. Some see the light later than others, but once you see it, you don't look back.

XIHIX,

Would your brother in law be Ron Rogers of Dublin GA?

So basically, what you're saying, is that no one in Athens ever grew out of those phases?

Anything is possible. I spent four years behind the enemy lines and came out basically unscathed.

John Dewberry - a great reminder that no one makes a better Yellow Jacket than a former Dawg that has seen the light.
