Not sure I agree with this article.

And then at year's end, it comes down to this: Notre Dame or Georgia Tech for the final playoff bid. If that happens, rest assured, Notre Dame is definitely in the playoff and not the ACC.
...Duh?

I would hope head-to-head matters a great deal when deciding between a pair of 12-1/11-1 teams.

It's stupid to talk about the playoffs now.

Notre Dame is good, but I am not convinced they won't lose 2-3 games this year. They had a fantastic game against us, however, some here are putting them way too far up on a pedestal.

That's kinda the point of the article though. If they lose 2-3 more, it makes our loss look worse. If they win out, they do so at the expense of more ACC teams. Kind of a lose - lose for ACC.

Notre Dame didn't manhandle us we sort of manhandled ourselves. I'd love to get another shot at them somewhere down the line.

I wouldn't say definitely. If ND loses to Clemson and we beat Clemson (possibly twice), then all bets are off.

We lost. ND has the leg up for now. Duke had a leg up on us late in the season last year, but they didn't win the division. Miami had a leg up in game 3 of 2009.

It is a long season.

Good point. If we beat Clemson, that would be the only win of the three that was on the road. It'll matter the scores also.

We won't be going undefeated. ABack blocking isn't good enough. Not close. Can we make the ACCCG? Yes.

I wonder how many missed assignments we had in 09' at Miami.

They beat the hell out of us but we had a few late passing TD's to make the score respectable.

Too many question marks for us to consider going undefeated at this time, so why bother worrying about it.

ND has fantastic lines and honestly their schedule after Clemson is only USC. The rest are pretty average teams.

I'll take that and a uga win.

But I've seen the team improve over the season before so sky's still the limit. One thing is certain, we never know how to handle some media love. It's like we always have to be the underdogs to win on the big stage.

While that may be historically and coincidentally true, I refuse to believe the reason for the loss has anything to do with media love.

We play better with a chip on our shoulder.

lol Ohio State made the playoff and lost at home in week 2 against VPI.

STFU ESPN.

Trivia time.....what future Pro-Bowler had his first collegiate catch and TD in that game? No cheating!

Note: I cheated.

Hey, look, an anti-ACC piece from ESPN. The sun must have come up this morning.

This discussion is silly.Way too early to talk 11-1 for us.Heck we will under-dogs in 4 games probably.
