The bottom part of this article mentions that Notre Dame AD Kevin White has had discussions with ACC officials and has met with Miami's AD. I doubt very seriously this would ever happen (ND to ACC), but they do fit academically and with no Big East, they will need a home. I would suspect that home (if it ever comes) would be in the Big Ten (11).
However, I do find it interesting that ND is being kept in the loop.
