Now I\'m Watching A Well Coached Team...

Good execution, disciplined, and inspired. I believe players have to have a little fear of the coaches when they screw up big time. I can remember Fridge and O'Leary chewing on some tail. What I saw out of today's Tech team was a care-free attitude, very lackadaisical.

By the way I'm watching Maryland.

Watching Fridge and Taaffe rack up wins makes me feel good, even if its for another team.

And just think, we were at Maryland's level not too long ago. Look how far we have fallen in so short a time makes me sick. How long will it take us to get back? GOK When you lose to Fresno St. in the Silicon Implant Valley Girl Classic, you have reached new lows. Not to mention the fact that just before the game, FS lost 7 players. Man.....

What was it that a supreme court justice said about pornography once? "I can't define it, but I know it when I see it"? I can't tell you WHY RC is a great football coach, but it's obvious that he is. Even listening to him interviewed on the radio, you just KNOW he's a great coach. He's inspires his players, they play above the level of their talent, and he get's results. I don't see ANY of that with our staff. I can't tell you why someone is a bad coach, but I know it when I see it.

<font size="2" face="Arial, Verdana, Sans-Serif">Unfortunately a lot longer than last time. The other programs have brought in some very good, enthusiastic coaches and now they are a couple years ahead of us. Long road back.

I was very happy for Coach Friedgen and very sad for us when he left for Maryland. He is obviously as good in the HC position as he was the OC position!

You saw Maryland progress steadily after a 1-2 start. Don't they call that coaching/teaching UP!

Big Ralph took a team with ONE outstanding player and has won 21 games already. Look at the staff Ralph put together-top notch. Keep an eye on Dave Sollozzo[sp?] as a future head coach somewhere.
