Pretty sure he lost all of them. But also O’Leary was a DC of a Natty team and had Fridge. Offense was there. I think that’s what we are worried aboutTrying to recall but didn’t O’Leary perform similarly to Key as an interim coach when we hired him ? I think his record was about .500 after inheriting a terrible team.
That turned out pretty well.
The difference is Key was with the predecessor the whole way while O'Leary joined for the last season.Trying to recall but didn’t O’Leary perform similarly to Key as an interim coach when we hired him ? I think his record was about .500 after inheriting a terrible team.
That turned out pretty well.
GO’L took over for L**** at the tail end of the ‘94 season and went 0-3.
How does one have anything to do with the other? O’Leary had A MNC OC on the team already. Does key know how to fix the offense? And we still hired him? If that’s the case I’m inclined to give Key a shot.
Apples and oranges situations. If you can’t see that it’s because you wear the same “Tech man” glasses that had you believing in Collins.Trying to recall but didn’t O’Leary perform similarly to Key as an interim coach when we hired him ? Fridge came back to GT for the 1997 season. How does one have anything to do with the other? O’Leary had A MNC OC on the team already. Does key know how to fix the offense?
Oh well good call then.Fridge came back to GT for the 1997 season.
I am not confident. How confident are we in Chip Long's offense? If we're not confident, how confident are we that Key and Batt can find the right man for the job? I absolutely hate watching Tech football when I know for a fact the game is over if the opponent scores 28 points.
About 10% confident in my eyes. The second question is the ultimate critical one that could make or break Key.How confident are we in Chip Long's offense? If we're not confident, how confident are we that Key and Batt can find the right man for the job? I absolutely hate watching Tech football when I know for a fact the game is over if the opponent scores 28 points.
Key is part of the problem, we need to clean house and start over. The difference is Key was with the predecessor the whole way while O'Leary joined for the last season.
I tend to agree with this. I loved the guy as a player, and I appreciate what he's done to get the team back into playing decent football again, but I don't see a much higher ceiling than this with him.Key is part of the problem, we need to clean house and start over.
O'Leary did not win a game as interim HC. Yet we hired him, and he turned it around in 2 seasons. Key just went 4-4, holding UGA to their lowest scoring total in COFH since 2016 and smallest margin of victory since 2015. Small comfort, but he had the team prepared and with few exceptions, they played well.Trying to recall but didn’t O’Leary perform similarly to Key as an interim coach when we hired him ? I think his record was about .500 after inheriting a terrible team.
