Observations from the stadium (WF edition)

Attendance started to soften during the Johnson years. Collins and COVID killed it.

I expect GT fans don’t appreciate how hard it is going to be to build a robust fan base. It is not just about winning unless you have a plan to win National Championship. The older die hards are going down with the ship, complaining about anything that could improve attendance.

Can't remember exactly when it happened, but there was one very jarring tv timeout. want to say third quarter, we were driving. had either just rattled off a big 1st down, or were coming up a big third down, when normally a defense would call a timeout to slow the offensive mo. WF didnt have to burn TO, tv did it for them. no injured player, no official review going, literally just right in middle of offensive drive. it was bizarre
 
Commercials are crazy and yes, they've been that way for a while. I was watching the Falcons Sunday until it became obvious they were sucking wind but I kept time from the point that the opponent kicked their XP to the time the Falcons snapped the ball on their next series and it was 12 mins.

Of course! It is always impressive to play games with a stadium at 50% capacity. And you still owe me a Coke!
