Odd contrast in early bowl projections.

It's mildly retarded to be projecting bowls right now in the first place, but I don't think it's implausible to rate us below Clemson, VPI, and BC right now. The weirdness in Maisel's pick is putting us behind Maryland. WTF?
 
So far, not one team in the NCAA has won enough games to qualify for any bowl --bowl projections at this stage are meaningless.

Or are they for entertainment purposes? I get a kick out of some of you guys putting down preseason projections and polls. Maybe we should just cut all football communications after the BCS championship game and leave them closed until kickoff of the first game. Let's not discuss anything other than what has happened in the past either.

We're fans. We speculate, exaggerate, and do other things that end in "ate."
