Of all our big plays in the CPJ Era...

I have tons and tons of favorites but the two that really stick out for me were last year: Dwyer's TD run against MSU and Thomas' 80± yard TD catch against Duke.

#71, I don't know who he is, gets a fantastic block in on the middle linebacker that makes that whole play work. That video is amusing, because Griese is talking about stopping us with assignment football, and that clip is a perfect example of why assignment football gets owned by Paul Johnson.

Howard?

Follow Dwyer all the way into the endzone and note the vicious block Thomas throws. That's a clue that he really gets CPJ's offensive philosophy of wide receivers as blockers.

Dwyer said that he had never run through a hole bigger than the one from the play vs. FSU in 2008 that you posted.

My favorite ever was the kickoff return fumble and touchdown against UGA. I called it before before they kicked. I turned to my buddy and said "wouldn't it be awesome if they fumbled and Dwyer got the TD right after?"

it happened... then I said "wouldn't it be awesome to beat Georgia for the next 10 years straight?"

That play is the quintessential example of how our offense cannot be stopped as long as we execute our blocks. Cox got an excellent initial block; Dwyer accelerates and then gets a nice block from Roddy downfield. This play, I think, is called the B-back load option, in NCAA 10 anyway.

GTROY you do realize the field is the OTHER WAY, right? :D

I always think of these two runs from 2008. These really convinced me that our offense was some serious shlt indeed!

Those Cox runs were absolutely insane to watch at the stadium. I absolutely couldn't believe he was rumbling down the field with nobody anywhere near him.

The best quote from the scUM game was Fowler's proclamation: "GT putting on an option clinic against the Hurricanes tonight", or STTE.

We've still never seen Dwyer get caught from behind, and barring playing through an injury, I don't think we ever will.

On his TD run last week against F$U, the safety had a serious angle on him and he still smoked him. Not that I expect anything less. It's a thing of beauty.
