Where does John Dewberry stand on WM? He's a Life Member, right? Maybe he could convince those who are blocking WM that yes, a former bulldog can succeed as a Tech man.

(assuming this PJ thing is a no-go)

I don't know...we're all over-thinking this stuff, aren't we?
 
I wouldn't be surprised to see Muschamp back in the running if Paul Johnson (the Board's guy) doesn't come here.
 
So the board likes PJ and D Rad likes WM, who the hell likes CH besides many of us?
 
Is anyone sure WM was ever interviewed?

And whatever happened with the supposed Hatcher 3:00 press conference in Statesboro?

The fact that I want the guy that the majority doesn't makes me some kind of villain how? I've been slammed for backing WM, I just don't get it.

the whole thing is starting to worry me


of course none of this is 100% accurate but from what we know:

the guy our AD wanted was shot down by the board, and the guy that the board wants may not want us bad enough to accept the pay....

this is going bad in a hurry


Am I the only one worried that we may botch this whole thing?

that's just the thing though Ish, DRad's not in charge anymore, if he was, WM would've been hired, power has been taken away from DRad in this process.

Umm, no. Power to vet and approve hires was never given to Dan, merely to seek, propose, and recommend hires. That's what an AD does.

I guess I shouldn't have worded that way...I meant it's not looking good for WM right now.

So is Dan seeking, proposing, and recommending Paul Johnson; or is the board? I didn't think that PJ was even DRad's 2nd or 3rd choice earlier.

Couldn't tell ya. Ask Dan. If I were him, though, I'd make sure my list of candidates wasn't closed to suggestions simply because of who's suggesting them.

I can tell you. PJ and Hatch were both search committee finds not dans

also can tell you WM was dans so was edsall.

Both have been turned down.

so what is the point of having an AD again?

Someone said to suggest? No that is the point of the search committee.
