They're averaging 9 yards per pass until their starting QB goes to the locker room, and are outgaining our offense by 50 yards to that point. This game is a tie if they don't turn it over three times. The reason that matters is statistically, turnovers are not predictable and are a bad indicator of defensive capability.

I guess I just don't want to see the improvement.

I’m not suggesting that the D is good or even mediocre. They got stops on 5 of 8 possessions. The INTs were good plays by the D.
