For those of you who were around for the 90-92 years, how the shit was Virginia a national powerhouse?
Was it just 1-2 really good recruiting years?

they had a good QB and a WR named Herman Moore, who'd become an NFL All-Pro with loser Detroit. He was kinda like the Cadaver version of Megatron but more like Star Scream.

Our offense went 3&out 5 times, punted 9 times, gave up 2 interceptions, gave up a safety, gave up the ball on downs once.

Our 4 quarter possessions went:
3&out - punt
1&out - interception
1&out - safety
9 plays 90 yards touchdown
9 plays 39 yards over on downs

We lost because of the defense. Good thing we fired Ted Roof.

In retrospect, I think we had a lot of “didn’t want to be there” this year. The conditions were miserable at UVA, and I’m not sure we wanted to play. Team chemistry issue or CPJ losing the team? I guess we’ll see next year.

Navy looks so good. UVa has no idea how to stop it. 42 unanswered points. damn.

Navy's starter goes down, no problem.

Our starter can't execute the offense.
 
49 unanswered points now. UVA had weeks to prepare for this offense.
