Well, they know the beginning of the game will be competitive. Can't know if the end will be.

His head wasnt lowered the whole time. His eyes were up when he started going in for the tackle.

It would be interesting to examine their substitution patterns in this game vs the season. One problem with a 7 db system would have to be tired dbs. Even Clemson probably has a healthy dropoff between their first and 14th db.

Burrow is obviously a great college QB, playing excellently tonight. Interesting to reflect on the fact that he wanted to go to Nebraska but didn't get an offer, then couldn't get playing time at Ohio St.

Even the best have to find the right fit.

I don't think I've seen a team in my life that would beat this one. Auburn 2011 maybe, just because they had actual magic.
