Official Game Day Thread: GT vs. USF

If we can get someone to hide somewhere in the box, the gaps we keep leaving open for Barnett about 1.5 seconds after the snap are going to continue to be tempting and maybe he'll keep taking the bait instead of passing to what I assume are wide open receivers. All we need after that is for him to trip and fall because whoever is spying him obviously isn't going to tackle him.
 
We're giving up 4.2 yards/play. Don't really know if that's good or not

This is probably the most frustrating thing about CPJ to me. Why, oh why, is it that for almost the entire time CPJ has been the head coach, that we can't put together even a mediocre Kickoff Team? Hell I don't care if the kicker can't get it in the endzone, we have no ööööing idea how to stop someone. At this point I would happily accept them getting to start on the 35 every time if it means nobody returns it for a TD.
 
Have we run the veer at all today? I’ve only seen a few mid lines, that speed option that Benson was feasting on and one rocket toss.
 
We're about to see what this year's team is made of. If they can fight and man up and get the win today I think we may be good this year. It's the second game and we don't look great but I think we can improve. If we lay down and lose today it could be a long year. The 2014 team had games like this but they had heart and fight in them and found a way to win. We don't have that most year's. Let's see if this team has it.

It helped we had a QB on that team that refused to lose and willed his team to win very much like #9.

We really looked pedestrian offensively after the deep bomb TD. Need some halftime adjustments of UGA 2008 quality.
