Once Gotsis came out of the game, Tulane started running the ball well. It's my only real complaint with the game. Kallon still hasn't figured it out yet, and Tech really needs him to for depth this year and for next season when Gotsis and Hunt graduate. The depth on the OLine will be fine to absorb the losses from graduation next season. DLine's going to be mighty thin at DT if one or two younger guys don't develop.
Kizer's a little bit better matchup for Tech than Zaire because he's not as quick as Zaire. Mobile QB's have always been a problem for Tech going all the way back to Ted Roof's first go round at DC. Kizer's big and strong and may be able to run through a tackle or two, but I don't think he has the speed to really make Tech pay in the open field. He's probably going to be somewhat comparable to Alcorn State's QB in that respect, although he almost has to be better throwing on the run. Tech's pass rush has been better so far this season, but they're leaky on their containment and a fast QB could've really exploited them. It's a real concern I have for the Clemson game and, to a lesser degree, FSU.
