The touchback was the smart play there. It avoids a potential disastrous return and puts our d on field with limited time.

I’m actually looking at an alternate universe thread and we scored a TD to Leonard on the 4th down play so you’re objectively wrong.

We're clearly avoiding mid/deep passes in the middle of the field. Safe passes. It's worked so far.

Seriously. We're within 3 of the #1 team in the country on the road playing our third string QB and backup center. And have actually moved the ball on them.

Criticizing Long's playcalling is absurd.
