Sims is very gifted. But a QB with poor ball control can’t play. He has to tighten up.

Two things:

1) I don't think that was really on him, nothing a QB can do if he is throwing and a DL gets in and hits his arm.

2) That said, he definitely needs to tighten up in general. But this is literally his second game action of any type, right? Plus no spring game, no normal training camp, etc. His ball control is fixable. I'll start getting worried if this is still happening in the second half of the season.
