That is a great question and usually I agree with you but I’m not ready to throw away a tfresh qb. He can be great for us but not ready yet.

I wasn't inferring that. I was more questioning why not give him some reps. He was obviously recruited for this system and likely will be in the program for a while. Coaches must not be that keen on a player they recruited.
