That’s not what’s in question. His foot came up and unless you’re ruling that possession starts the instant the ball touches a finger then he was OOB. That was an easy “ruling on the field stands” review that they blew.

I mean it looked like the ball moved and spun until he really got control and by that time his foot was definitely airborne. But it was super close, think it should have just gone with whatever the call was on the field is my thing
