If you evaluated the talent on D the Secondary would be our strongest unit for sure... but we got to get some points even as well as our defense is playing N.C. has tons of big play ability

Can't run up the middle getting pansied around and 1 of few outside runs we had went for like 40 and no targets to RB like Gibbs and D. Smith in passing game whatsoever okay... pnut

It's frustrating. On those plays we're catching a guy at a 3 yard gain and dragging them forward for a first down. And it's rarely one guy, usually there are three or four struggling to put the ball carrier down.
 
Since day 1 Thacker has designed the D around the players we had rather than trying to implement something we didn't have the roster for. Defense is playing like I was expecting it to this year. We'll still have games were we don't match up well up front; but that will get fixed with recruiting.

Gailey changed his OC literally EVERY YEAR he was here…..big mistake. BUT, Patenaude has had some time and we still look dysfunctional.

Agreed. His success will depend on that coordinator position.
