We haven’t focused on D for 11 years. Our D backs are markedly improved this year. We lost our best DL to tragedy. Our still inadequate LBs are playing better than our inadequate LBs last year.

“Can’t count on them anymore”? We haven’t been able to for 11 years, even when coach ego inherited a roster that had at least 3 fairly high NFL draft choices on D.

But for 11 years it was more important to have a roster overloaded with a, b, QBs, and “athletes” than having enough OL & DL to build a team.

I'm not sold on him. Our worst unit on the field is the O-line and we are paying the O-line coach $600K. If guys were getting shoved into the QB that would be one thing; but they look more like Keystone Cops than a well coached but undersized group.

They cannot open running lanes, defenders are pushing them aside and getting into the backfield. They were coached the past 10 years by Sewak. IIWII I guess.

Busted condoms provide more protection than our O line.

We did complain about Sewak. The difference was that Sewak specifically recruited these guys to do what he and the HC wanted to do. And that is a poor fit for anything else that is run at this level.

At some point the option haters will have to stop shitting on our players and defending shitty onfield coaching, just because the current iteration sucks. This doesn't mean a change wasn't good, only that the onfield performance of our coaching staff is ööööing garbage... obviously the recruiting has been a positive, the other, our staff is better than Strong's

This team severely lacks TALENT on Offense, this in turn wears out the DEFENSE that isn't elite talent-wise to start with

Their RB has 15 carries for 84 yds

Mason & Griffin have a combined 7 carries for 13 yds

Worst OLine play since BL left the program with a buncha small undersized guys with no talent

CPJ would be 3-1 after today with this team, as so should CGC. We have enough athletes to beat The (friggin') Citadel and Temple. Our pathetic interloper of an "OC" simply is a fraud and over his head. If Collins doesn't fix it now it's squarely on him.
