Yeah we need to stop running sideline to sideline. Our line isn’t that good, and our backs just aren’t gonna outrun those guys to the edge

Perhaps. But if your QB isn't developed, it really won't matter much in the long run. If Sims isn't significantly improved next year, it's on Patenaude.

And based on recruiting rankings and offers, it appears others evaluated Sims as the better player as well.
 
You’d think after the counter got sniffed out on 4th down we wouldn’t try it again but that’s paterboob for you
