- since 2015 we have signed ONE true QB, And even he is listed as “Dual”.

- Perhaps CGC & crew are horrible. Let us fire him and the staff now, along with CJP and crew. No doubt the school will give us the funds, or we can all chip in?

- regardless, we are too young. We haven’t recruited enough, good DL & OL. H.S. coaches told us their better players did not want to play in our system but we got mad at that truth and dug our heels in.

- D has been on the back burners for years. Just changing DCs was not the answer. A culture change was but we did not care.

- CPJ has seen a lot of football and he saw this coming. Today would have been no different with he & Sewak here.

- we have too many Frosh and not enough Srs. on the roster.

- you want to stop this cycle? Then stop embracing a gimmick. Decide to play big boy football. Stop worrying about crap like unis, songs, and crap. Just give more money.

The problem is not so much a lack of talent between the two teams as superior coaching and player development of Coach Cut and his staff. There is absolutely no excuse for this performance. We took a baby step forward against UNC and went two or three steps back today. The lack of respect Duke has for our defense is shown by going for it on fourth down three times and making it each time. As you say, "there are a lot of issues..." indeed.

Forget the recruiting rankings. Eyeball test it and tell me we arent smaller and slower than them.

Smaller yes, slower no. We look like we can’t make in half adjustments. Which is probably true since everyone is new in the system. Halftime adjustments look ok. Pregame plan looked OK.
 
Do we not have a thread for the cocks and mutts game? At least that one gives me a spark of hope.
