When the Braves moved to Atlanta, their radio announcers were Milo Hamilton and Larry Munson. Munson just stayed with the Braves for one year. Milo was very popular for a number of years. He eventually left Atlanta to be the announcer for the Pirates and then a member of the announcing crew for the Cubs. I think Milo thought he was going to be the next Cubs top announcer, and they picked Harry Carey. Then, Milo became the top announcer for the Houston Astros.
I had almost had all but forgotten Larry Munson's Braves stint. Thanks for reminding me. Let me go kick myself in the head and change to cheering for some other dipshit team like the Cubs.
