Because you are trying to interfere with the pass; but he was late. He wasn't trying to tackle high or he would have taken him to the ground.
 
The good news is we've played as poorly as possible in the first quarter and are still tied at the half. The bad news is UCF's offense and our defense are in a real competition about who wants this game less.
 
That one DE we have who looks like a ninja turtle is badass. He’s gonna do something big in second half.

Which one makes the better adjustments at the half? I'm guessing Malzahn.

I expect us to have a weak 3rd quarter followed by a strong 4th quarter. Our conditioning must be good because we seem to play better late in the half in a lot of games.
 
I'm impressed at the comeback. It was looking like a clown special after the first few persons.

Word is they may be replaced with a weekly halftime event, tentatively titled Batt's Bash at the Half on the Flats BAP BAP which will feature a new local artist or inspirational speaker each week, not performing but promoting that week's corporate partner.
