The whatifs are irrelevant and mental masturbation. Bottom line is we are 3-2 and will be lucky to make a bowl game this year.
 
Louisville is probably not a world beater, but they are solid. They have good coaching and they have talent roughly equivalent to marginally better than ours. It was on the road, and we gifted them two scores.

I'm not ready to give up on this team, but we've got to get more consistent on offense and get a run game. King is a baller....we should be better on offense than we are.

Play call clearly had a WR pass option. Why call that on your own 10???
 
Jbatt needs rewatch the game with Key, Faulkner and Wade and as them what the heck they were thinking on about 25 plays. We are not good enough to overcome horrendous coaching.

Honestly Key needs an experienced HC to work with him on what he needs to do better in crucial in game decisions. Curry had that with Dodd and it helped him become a better HC. If O’Leary was closer, I would love for him to work with Key to improve his decision making,
 
After a loss it is always interesting to read the comments on what we need. We need the same things every other team needs. Everybody knows what is needed. Dominate OL Great QB play. Great coaching. 5 star receivers. On and on. The reality is we will likely never get what we need to be playoff bound. We are not wired that way. But I cheer just as hard and enjoy as best possible and even watch more of the semi pro games as pure entertainment but a I have accepted that we are among the 100’or so teams that know what is needed. We are just in the crowd that cannot get what is needed. As always I sure hope I am wrong and the big surprise hits as we are playoff bound. .

No but we actually NEED an in game decision consultant. Which is different than what some teams need.
