Figured we could have one for those of us who don't have that chat stuff. I might be the only one who doesn't.

Impressive start by Clemson... They punched the bully square on the jaw.

Ok, I don't know which thread to use, so I'll use both. This is impressive as hell. Only one blown play by Clemson so far.

One more TD here will put the pressure on Coker. They don't be able to simply pound the ball and play catch up, and that will play right into Clemsons wheelhouse.

I'm enjoying the Megacast Film Room coverage -- never seen it before, but it beats the hell out of the usual press box inanity

Clemson better overall team. Stuffed Henry, Watson gashed their D which might be the best in 50 years, and Saban resorted to trickery to win. He said as much this morn with wtte: We weren't stopping them and I didn't think we could, so the OS kick.

Henry was probably the 3rd best option for the Heisman.

Best tean won. Clemson gave away too may easy scores. Bama made Clem's son work for everthing they got.

Very shoddy defense by both teams. Kirby Smart's stock dropped like Wall Street lately.

Go Jackets!

How many completely blown coverages did Clemson have? and Alabama hit every one of them.

I thought they were two very well matched teams, clearly the two best in the country, and either team could have won on a given night.

great game. Clemson had to deal with some key injuries and the Onside Kick was genius.

Dabo got out-Dabo'd by Saban - but even that was refreshing to see, Saban having to resort to Dabo-type ploys to win it

My displeasure comes from that non-PI call in the 3rd quarter when Clemson went to the end zone. How was that not a PI?
I'm not even a CU fan, but my goodness, the refs had to be blind for no call. Any then those two idiots in the booth orgasming over what a great play the DB made. CU had to settle for 3 instead of possible 7.

Was that the one where Renfrow (walk on gym rat extrordinare) went up for the ball and got mauled to the ground by the DB who wasn't looking for the ball? Because yeah, that seemed like a missed call to me too.

Clemson loses another game due to special teams. They lost to us with the Blair pass one year and another year that stupid pooch kick thing they tried.

Those were both 2009.

Pac 12 refs

That lead ref looked like a brain-damaged deer in headlights all night. And yeah, they showed the replay of that uncalled PI a dozen times and I still couldn't see the alleged great play by the defender. He chopped the receiver's arms a bit before the ball got there, the guy still almost caught it, the guy lost it on the ground, and apparently the announcers saw the defender backhand the ball away from the guy but I never saw that either.

The clock debacle at the end of the half was unfortunate, too. At least the refs didn't seem to make themselves too much a part of the game by calling a million penalties, but they had a couple of pretty bad screw-ups.
