Defense is hot garbage. Pyron looks like a capable back up QB making his first start of the season.

Defense is not hot garbage. This constant blaming the defense for everything is a joke at this point. Every single game, it’s a broken record blaming the defense. Stats seem to show the D is just damn fine.

ND is just a better team, period. ND is deeper team. Just how it goes right now. GT still has depth they are adding. ND made adjustments after GT’s first TD drive, and GT has become one dimensional on offense. Problem is, ND has one of the best secondaries in the country. Combine that with a VERY good OL on offense and a veteran QB and they are controlling the LOS on O.

Pyron has thrown the ball with accuracy (outside of 2 passes). Problem is, he doesn’t have that dual threat run ability King has. So ND is just dropping back in coverage on D.

Biggest issue to me so far has been GT going away from the run coming out at the half only down 14-7. Play calling has regressed as the game has gone on. Not sure why CBF has all but abandoned the run.
