Our worst effort of the year. With a kicker who is 6 of 11 and today a blocked kick and fumbled snap we are below 50% in converting FG attempts. That is middle school level performance.

Both snaps were awful.

Chan's teams played defense. Gary Guyton, Phillip Wheeler, Vance Walker......

Kicking was the right call. Bigger issue, to me, was trying all our cute stuff at the LOS on first and second down when the only thing we've done well consistently today is push the ball downfield.
Yup. But we have an OC obsessed with how cool his plays look.

We have a lot of work to do as a program if we are going to be in the ACC title game in the next few years, it the reality is that our schedule is so brutal this year next year winning 8-10 games is very doable

I mean dude, you can throw out the most simple gameplan of inside dive and smash concepts, and we’d still get cooked on the line. This line play has been horrendous.

Yes, we do need to start throwing intermediate to deep passes on every down. If our OL can hold up and that's a big if.

Maybe just maybe the complexity of what is asked of the line every single time we line up impacts their ability to play with aggression.

He has held the ball too long with receives open. All day.
He’s had zero time, even when he has receivers open, he has a guy in his face. There’s no “holding on too long” when there’s no time at all. This is fully on the line.
