official Paul Johnson Bowl thread (army vs. navy)

Pretty sure this is a colorized replay of the 1945 game. Doc Blanchard is looking good for Army.

Coach N. should not have punted. Johnson would have gone for that sure as shit.

Congrats to Army & Coach Monken. Totally pullin' for 'em. Uniforms were bad ass.

I usually cheer for Navy in this because of Johnson's history there, but it was good to see Army snap the streak.

So do we hire Monken or coach N when CPJ retires?

Dear lord, neither. And why do some think in 3,5,7 years either would still be someone they would want to hire?

Why not Major Applewhite, Mark Price, Sean Bedford, Phillip Wheeler, Michael Crabtree, or Matt Ryan.

With Coach Price, we'll lead the world in free throw %.

I've known Coach Monken a long time. One of the best. Great guy. Much props to him for getting the Black Knights of the Hudson to 7 wins.

Because they are both successful with the offensive system that helped us win an ACC championship and beat uga 3 times.

Idk. We need a pro style offense with tight ends and short passes. I get tired of winning so many big games with running the ball. IDK if this is the best era of football on the flats since Bobby Dodd- we must conform and look like everyone else.
