I've taken a lot of time off of work lately and leave work early twice a week for class that I'm a little gun shy about asking for more time off. I plan on leaving K-saw around 4 PM and hopefully will be in a parking lot around 5 (too optimistic?).

I can't really take the lead on this tailgate, but am certainly game for meeting up and tailgating hobo style with nothing more than a 12 pack of beer.

I'd be game for taking up residence on the bridge and shotgunning beers until I get my **** mind rite.
 
If y'all can meet me at 5 to do the unloading, and then help load up before the game, then I'll bring the gear for the bridge. That includes a tent, a grill, a table, two chairs, and some tunes. Bring a chair, anything you want to grill, and some bevs. We prob don't really need a tent...

I can help with the unloading. I can get there early to grab a spot (and start getting drunk), so you can just swing by with your car to drop off stuff.

I'll probably leave by 6, so it will have to be others to load it up before game.

FWIW, we don't really need much gear, maybe just a cooler?

We're not gonna make it before 4:30-5. A good tailgate is about >4 hours. So now is your time to shine if you'd like to host.

Apparently the Varsity lot is problematic to set up during the week because the 9 to 5 crowd parks there and empty spaces will be scattered. Bridge sounds like the best option.
