Yes, highly recommend it. Just don't be in hurry to get out if there when the game is over.

That's my fear. I'll be driving back home afterwards (3 hours) with my son who has school the next day (he'll sleep on the way of course). I expect quite a few early exiters since it's an FCS opponent.

Park at the CRC.

What's the CRC? I've always parked at the 3rd ST AT&T garage, but I'm not doing that for a night game.

The Tech gym. SAC like diseqc said. They got a big parking deck and they let you park there for $20. Getting out of there is easier than the student center.

Yeah, you're not going to want to park in SC then. The Rec Ctr. is a better option in your case. If you park in the SC, you might as well plan on tailgating for another hour after the game unless you head out before the game is over. But then again, a lot of people may be doing that since it's a thurs. night. Although, I won't, have never left before a game was over, winning or losing; it doesn't matter.

I stay as long as we got a mathematical chance to win or tie it. And apparently 18 seconds is enough for Justin Thomas and Harrison Butker to bring the game back.

Which way are you trying to go when you leave? We live about 3 hrs away also and always park in a teeny tiny lot on a small street just north of 5th. I think it's Biltmore. We have to get back to 78/85-S and then I-20-E. We park on it because there's access to get either to Spring St., or if Spring is packed, you can go over to Peachtree and back down to Linden to cut across back to Spring near the 78/85 on ramp. There's a good bit of parking there on the corner of 5th/Spring but if you get in certain lots, you only have the choice to go south on Spring when you exit.

It's a good location for us. Right by the bookstore (a must when we get to go to a game), short walk across 5th. St. bridge to YJA, not too far to walk back to tailgate and get more hammered before walking to the stadium.

EDIT: I see now you're in Vidalia. So you probably hit I-16 to 75 straight in, so the same would work for you to get to 75/85-S.

I think I was one of the 4 people left in the stadium at the 98 UVA game before everybody showed back up.

(giggles)

It's between SAC fields and SAC. Across from the back of IC.

That must be where we parked last time. I wasn't on campus from about 2000 until 2013 and probably only been there a half dozen times since I graduated. I went to bowl games and away games with tickets I purchased through the AA and kept getting screwed, so I ended up in the middle of the Oklahoma State section at the Final Four. It was pretty empty around me for the championship game.
