I like the way he thinks this stuff is unique to our team and doesn't also apply to every other team in college football.

I'm often shocked/amused when I hear about some team beating a top 5-10 team for the first time in their history. We beat more top teams when we suck than when we are good. It does make the down seasons more tolerable.

Sounds like he tried to walk back the meaning of his original statement, which was that Pitt's win over PSU was a huge deal (Superbowl), but Penn State's win was routine.
