I've always looked for 1st team All-State status in a classification as a guide to the credibility of the talent of a player especially if the coaches are somehow involved in the choices.When you start to hear that the player was only the most valuable lineman on his team and all-region ,you need to start worrying generally.Also when the 1st or 2nd comment about a recruit is his SAT score,be wary.
