On this date in 2006.....

Incredible day in Blacksburg. I think that was Reggie's best game in all his four years as a starting QB.

I remember this game. Back when each day carried the possibility that we might stumble into embarrassing a ranked team, or sign a demigod receiver for the lulz.

Chan was a quarterback away from being a Georgia Tech legend.

That's what makes or breaks a lot for teams. That's the main reason I want a hc with deep qb development experience.

I don't think @05GTCorndog has figured out what causes kids yet.

Wtf? Is there more to the story?

Yes...

There was a WV bandmember....or a WV fan...who went over to our band section and took a dump in one of the seats during halftime.

Someone took pictures of the idiot doing it.....he walked between the rows...picked a random seat....looked around to see if anyone was watching....turned around....dropped his drawers and squatted.....Pulled his drawers up and walked away.

Later.....the band returned and the GT bandmember to his seat and was like....WHOA!!!! Everyone circled around, looking. I guess someone from the stadium had to come clean it up.....can't remember what happened after.

GO JACKETS!!

It was a couple of drunk WVU fans. I saw them lurking around during halftime, didn’t see the actual poop, and saw them getting escorted out by security.

Long live Calvin…..and our defense.

Game has changed so much. QB under center. No spread.

WV was running what would develop into the spread. And we lost the game because Tenuta’s defense couldn’t contain it. That’s why he had less success post Tech. The more spread offenses, the less effective the rock defense became.
