Was it Fedora?Who was the UNC coach? I remember CPJ calling two timeouts at the end after UNC couldn’t stop the clock. Johnson was rubbing salt in the wound. I was an epic FU to UNC. I loved it even though it meant standing in the pouring rain.
It was Fedora. Also a couple of Stingtalkers were heckling him the whole game and towards the end he lost his sh!t and started yelling backWas it Fedora?
My wife left me before halftime and spent the rest of the game in Starbucks.
Dad and I skipped that Clemson game. We were gonna leave early in the morning for Clemson. I called Dad and finally one of us said "why don't we just skip this one?" On TV, waterfalls heading down the stands and we lost. That was a game where my seats in the back of lower east, under what little bit of overhang still exists, really paid off.
As monsoon games go, that one doesn't hold a candle to some of the games we've had at Clemson - I think 2002 was the hardest prolonged rain I've ever sat through.

Gailey ball!My two memories of that game are the waterfall cascading down the upper stands where we were sitting, and our offense airing it out in the deluge with Tony Hollings standing in the backfield.

Best decision I made that day was wearing flip flops. Wet feet dry so much faster than wet shoes. My only regret was wearing cowboy boots. It was like walking around in two buckets of water.
We are but a week away from the 25th anniversary of the infamous ’Anvil Night’ game against Maryland. It was GOL literally bring our program back from the dead.
Never again would the GTAA distribute seat cushions as a giveaway.
