Black watch helmets?
It looks like metallic gold GT on the helmet so I don’t think so. I think I like this, not sure. Wouldn’t have minded the iced out look. But can appreciate wanting to have some degree of a traditional GWG look when we’re shredding up the weeds around 11pm.

I need this game to hurry up. My anxiety from 2.5 decades of Tech fandom is now starting to take over the confidence I have had. Lfg damnit. I really love Brent Key and want this to be a true turning point, not another damn dagger in heart. Lfg. Lfg.

I suggest drinking early and often. It has kept me sane for 30 years of GT sports

Hahaha. I really really like Mac Lain. In the Week 14 preview show, after talking about our game, he says “I really really like Georgia Tech, and it’s time we really start discussing how an 8 and 4 GT deserves to be in the College Football Playoffs, with that they’ve done…..haha, I’m just kidding. But if we were another person on another network and from a different conference, we’d be saying that.”

Every rivalry has that one game, the one that, even amid a century of heated battles, stands out. It's the one still spoken of, years later, in hushed, reverent tones. Or maybe it's debated with righteous indignation on both sides. Either way, it's remembered in vivid detail -- by the players, the coaches and, especially, the fans.

In Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate -- the epic rivalry between Georgia and Georgia Tech -- that game came 25 years ago, and the final score -- Georgia Tech 51, Georgia 48 -- only begins to hint at the myriad twists and turns that made it one of the most memorable rivalry games of all time.

Ten years ago, Georgia Tech took down ninth-ranked Georgia 30-24 in a wild overtime that featured two Georgia fumbles at the Tech 1, a Tech fumble at the Georgia 1 (returned 99 yards for a TD), a go-ahead Georgia TD with 18 seconds left, a 53-yard Harrison Butker field goal at the buzzer and a game-clinching D.J. White interception.

The Yellow Jackets were 12.5-point underdogs in that one; the task's a bit steeper this time, but it might be an even costlier loss for a Georgia team that will get two chances to clinch a bid (this game and the SEC championship).

Current line: UGA -19.5 | SP+ projection: UGA by 25.9 | FPI projection: UGA by 19.2
