The guy who composed the article has changed his tone a bit this morning because he thinks that the pollsters understand that the computers will put OU vs Texas, so many of them are going to put Florida as #1 instead of #2 (many of them would have UF at #2 according to their prior votes). The guys on 790 were talking about this yesterday on the radio. Apparently the pollsters look at the computers in the last week of play and determine where the computers will rank the teams before making their choices. Even though the computer rankings aren't public prior to their picks, there is a way of finding out what the computer rankings will be

The guys on 790 were saying that they think it is unethical to do something like this. I think it is just one more example of why we need some playoffs.
