NOT!! It is the Miami game. If we beat Miami, they will have 2 conference losses along with VT and UVA. If we win 3 of 4 from Climpson, NCSU, UNC, and Duke, which is very probable, we will end up in Jaxonville because we will be heads up winners over the only other possible 3 teams who have 2 losses.

And the other question, what would be the best win for us, either the conference championship game or UGA. Some of you will argue that UGA would be best because of Georgia intrastate recruiting, plus a grudge match. But I believe a win in our championship game would be much more important because of nation wide exposure.
But I still hope we kick those leg humpers hard this year, regardless!
What are your thoughts?
An can somebody tell me how our location is called the "flats"? I know I knew this at one time but at my age, my memory seems to be failing me.

In regards to our Coastal title hopes, yes scUM is more important, but i would argue they are equally important. Arguments aside, let's win both of them!

However I think that Saturday is the more important game b/c it will put us in the top 10. I think if we win Saturday everything else will take care of itself.

Not to mention those Clemson fans have been coming out of the wood work lately (more so than usual). Would we be seeing all these Clemson fans if Wake would have closed the deal?:laugher:

I want a nice 17pt win in Clem's son's stadium.

I happen to think clemmons is HUGE for our players. maybe bigger for them emotionally than UM or you know who.
Yes, beating um gets us where we want to go, but this one determines so much.

The term "The Flats", as I have heard, literally refers to the flattest area to build the ballfield. Remember that all of tech was originally on what we call "The Hill".

At the risk of redundancy, the most important game of our season is this Saturday. Once that is over, we can talk about something else.

There are no games scheduled other than this Saturday's contest at Clemson. All other match-ups are rumored and otherwise insignificant.

I would personally take just playing in the championship game over beating UGA - not even close in my book.

I want both. They are equal in my book.

We're arguing which win would be better: clemson to potentially put us in the top 10, miami to win the division, an underdog uga team, or a conference championship game. Tear

The most important one to me is the next one. So my answer is Clemson.
Quite true. We are all getting ahead of ourselves Clem's Son is next and for now it is the only game that matters.

The most important game remaining on the schedule is Clemson ...this week.

Next week the most important game remaining on the schedule will be Miami.

After that, etc...

Our most crucial game is on 11/25.

not even close.

I want to go to a BCS Bowl...I want ORANGE.

That happens by beating Miami and 2 of the other 4 ACC opponents. I want that first.

The Miami game is the most important game in Tech Football since 2001.

Hey Red, I want the Orange Bowl and a chance at the NC game. Let's win out and not worry about which one was most important.

Losing to UGAy for a fifth straight year would piss off an awful lot of people regardless of what bowl we go to.

I know what you are saying, and there is some truth to it....but I don't care about pissing some small minded people off.

I want what is best for the program...and that would be an Orange Bowl match-up for the entire country to see with no other TV competition against an Auburn or Florida type team.

That would be HUGE for the program.

I know the team wants to beat UGA this year.....but they REALLY WANT Orange Bowl.

One game at a time though.

What is best for the program is a UGAy win. A united fanbase and an increased number of butts in the seats.

This is all absurd anyway, because if we lose to UGAy odds are very slim we'd win the ACCCG game. It would most likely lead to another end of the season swoon.
