How does a contract that allows this clown to walk away with $11M after one of the single worst coaching tenures in Tech history ever get signed off on by anybody on the hill or by the GTAA attorney? As much as TStan is to blame for this - and he is - somebody else signed off on this crap. $11M would go a long way to new locker rooms and other facilities, instead of giving Clown ass the world's greatest paid vacation.
 
How bad is it that no matter what dysfunctional, psychotic, narcissistic stories @DinnerJacket comes back with, none of them will come as a surprise to any of us. I wonder (out of academic curiousity) what that sick bastard is like at home.

We should be thanking all that is good and holy every day that Cabrerra stepped up and cleaned house.

Sadly, you could do a case study on how poorly the GTAA has been run and you'd be replete with examples. I believe TDope that most, but the so-called board has signed off Hewitt's evergreen contract and gave Clown the most ridiculous contract ever for a largely unproven head coach.

It would be nice if GT could go through the next decade without being its own worst enemy.

one of the funnier examples he told me that stood out was his utilization of GA’s. I thought this was a joke. He swore this was serious. He would have two GA’s go through his chicken tenders and actually pick off all the breading. So many things wrong with that but apparently this was a very common occurrence. Weirdo.
None of his assistants respected him. GOL hates being associated with him.

The story I heard is that the Clown had a serious issue with one detail of his office at the GTAA. The coffered ceiling in his office was adorned with recessed can lights, and they bothered him to no end. The lights were not centered in their respective coffered openings, and the asymmetry had begun to drive him to distraction.

Apparently at some point in his 4th year of coaching the crooked lights were still on his mind. He grabbed his jacket and headed over to Toad's office. He said there's something that's been bothering me for quite some time. He went on to explain the misaligned can lights in his office, stating "It's a small thing, I know, but it's driving me crazy. I can't focus with those lights off-center."

Apparently, after asking Toad how hard would it be to move the offices to a new location, he was fired.

That sounds like a serious problem. We need to build an entirely new athletic complex.

I know one thing - B$$$ L!!!!! is so glad the Clown came around . B$$$ hardly gets a mention any more.
 
He brought the Equipment staff breakfast and it was posted on twitter. What people don’t know is that he called the PR staff and told them to set up cameras to catch him delivering the breakfast. He then told them what to post on twitter.

He was a good marketer. Had we been winning everyone we would all be racing to Waffle House. When you don't win, you will look like a clown and everything associated with it. Now if he was badmouthing us to UGAY, etc. afterwards, I get it because he was humiliated but it's never ever acceptable. I wish him well as he is a good guy. I did meet him while he was the recruiting coordinator here and he was extremely positive about GT. That's why I, like many thought he would be successful here. But as we all know, just because you're a good coordinator or excellent recruiter/marketer may not translate to being a good captain at the helm as HC.

Probably 99% of videos posted on the internet are staged or scripted so that really isn't that weird to me. The problem was that he was focused on trying to make everyone like him and not focused on winning football games.
