Out of GT's final 4 games, which one are we most likely to lose?

Definitely the mutts. As improved as Duke is on offense this year, they are still the team we beat 27-3 last year, and we are at least as improved as them. They lost to Richmond, and got run off the field by a slightly better than average Kansas team. Wake has an experienced QB, and is just as much of a threat to knock us off as the Dukies. Vandy? I've seen them play a full game twice this year, and they're pretty bad. Their QB is their best running back, he passes like Reggie Ball and their receivers drop the ball half the time when he does get it there. Anything can happen, but I don't see us losing to Vandy.
 
UGAG will be our toughest remaining regular season game by far. They will be amped BIG time. That game will be a war.

After that...

Duke - they are passing very well right now.
WFU - they play tough, and have the guys to win the game.
Vandy - not sure what happened to them, but they are just bad this year.

Yes, Thaddeus Lewis is a good QB. Yes, Cutcliffe is the best coach they've had since Spurrier (sorry Ted). Yes, their offense is much improved and they gave VT a scare. But we won't lose to Duke. Not with the Coastal Division on the line. Same goes for Wake.

I seriously do not think that we will lose from here on out, and that we win the rest of our games in the first half, but stranger things have happened (including against Duke.)
 
The only team you should worry about now is Vandy.
 
You guys are a bunch of idiots if you think Duke is a better football team than UGA. UGA could play their second stringers and beat Duke. Ya'll are in for a rude awakening if you think the UGA game is a blowout. I fully expect them to give us everything they have and beat us, ending our regular season at 10-2. If we don't play as good as we can, we will lose that game.
 
UGA...and theres no way *knock on wood* we lose to the Dukies CPJ has changed our culture otherwise we would have lost to UVA

Wake has gotten lots of practice against Navy the last two years and good QBs have been a problem for our defense.
 
Georgia is the most dangerous opponent, but a Duke loss would be more devastating.
 
Its this simple. If we want to be a top 10 team - perhaps even top 5 - we HAVE to win 6 more games this season. We are just barely over half way there. Lots and lots of football left to play.

The question is which game are we most likely to lose. Duke is clearly the correct answer.

Since none of the remaining four teams are better than Georgia Tech, the question becomes a two parter: 1) Which teams are we most likely to have a let down; and 2) Of the teams from question 1 which ones can make us pay for it and actually beat us?

Vandy, Duke and Wake are the answer to question 1.

We will not have a let down against UGa.

So, of Vandy, Duke and Wake, which one can beat our B-game.

Duke can, that's who.
 
Every team, to a certain extent, plays to the level of their opponent. Some teams are worse about this than others, but Duke IS a huge trap game. It's up to CPJ that we bring the same game against Duke that we will against UGA and put them away early. Teams can forget that the other team still plays football, will still throw the football, and try to hit you in the mouth on defense. Coming out in a DEAD Duke stadium (most big high schools have more excited crowds) will be tough.

I don't think UGA will be a blowout, but if we play how we can, we should win fairly comfortably.

I don't think we're going to let down against anybody. But Joe Cox and AJ Green and co are capable of scoring lots of points on us even if we don't let down.

People have gotten too used to the "let down" games. I don't think people can comprehend us beating opponents that any team should be able to beat.
 
the NEXT one. that is the only one we can lose next game.
