I sit here, a bit drunk, rockin along with a fav movie "The Song Remains the Same" (in the interest of saving money this friday night only to spend it tomorrow) and I noticed that the '98 GT v UVA' youtube video thread had a bit of age connotation to it about the kid who was really young when that great game went down on the Flats... so just for the amusement of myself and how many others.. who cares to state their age on here? Is that too taboo?...I think we all have our opinions about who's who in the grand scheme of things, but lets see where we all fall in the span of the GT ages? And at the same time give credence to those who have been following these Yellow Jackets through thick and thin?

I myself am a lowely 28, but consider myself to have a decent knowledge of GT history at least back as far guys like the indomitable Fridgemover, Gary Lee, John Dewberry, and Ted Roof. Thanks Dad!!!

Im 29...also '98 GT-UVA game was the first GT game I ever attended and I will never forget it and storming the field afterwards after that great comeback

18, been a fan since i was 6 i live in a family of uga fans but never was one. First game i attended was the 2008 florida state game.

I'm 50 and I remember that game like yesterday. Well sort of. I don't remember much any more actually.

40. I think we did this before on a thread, but that may have been a year ago.

I'm 35, and I was on my way back from Amsterdam during that game - actually saw the FG in my condo when I got home.

After the pain of the year before, I couldn't bear to watch that game in Athens. I hate going to Athens.....except in 2000.

40...and I was at that game in the upper east...45 yd line. The video does not do the speed of the play to Dez justice.

33...I was in school during that game, and I'm ashamed to admit I started to leave the stadium early...and as I' walking back, I hear a big roar from the crowd when Camreon picked up the fumble and took it home. I went back to my seats and, when it was all over, I was on top of the goalposts before they came down.

26....Thats when I decided I wanted to go to Tech. Unfortunately, I didn't get there til grad school. Went to Ga So then transferred to Duke. Puke. The best thing about that place was the UNC women.

28. first game was the '98 BC game as a senior in high school.

Will be 44 in August, was at that game on the sidelines. Still remember Dez racing across the field towards our sideline and running into the endzone. First game I went too at Tech was 81 I beleive against unc and LT and Ethon Horton, Tech lost but the unc cheerleaders left an impression on me. Ah, another story for another time.

No one from Ellijay would take me to Tech because they were so bad so I ended up in nadlickerville more times than not just to go see a game.

I'm 59....

My first game was 1957 against Duke. My dad graduated in '40, and although we lived in Raleigh, we went to one and sometimes two games a year.

I was at the UVA game in '98. Sat in the upper east near the south goal line.

47.....was in the Upper East (sec 227) with Stoopid Gy. That was a couple of years before we moved to Sec 123.

Have followed GT football pretty much since my brother was a freshman (Dodd's last season as HC)
