Pat Clark ?'s

BOR, thanks for the history lesson. I recalled he bounced in and out of the starting lineup last year, and was used sparingly, but I didn't recall any poor performances to the extent you allude to...

That said, it looked to me like JWD got a stinger in the replay. They were working his legs at one point, which leads me to believe it was a stinger-type injury. I just hope he's OK.

In any event, I trust that Tenuta will put the right guy in there and they will play well. Doesn't hurt that we have Samford on Saturday, either. Regardless, if our D-line and LBs continue to put the kind of pressure on the QB that we did against ND, our corners won't be seeing many passes thrown their way. ;)

I hate to repeat what was already said, but I distinctly remember Clark's poor performances last year. Jahi was also targeted quite a bit but held his own better than Clark ever does. I say put a freshman w/ potential in, Clark is already as good as he is ever going to be, go ahead and put a young guy in there that will learn from his mistakes and develop, assuming he's not worse than Clark of course.

"just" a concussion can be serious. Hopefully not, but we'll have to wait and see.

True - I was just commenting about typical results of a concussion. Regardless, good luck and God speed to JWH on a speedy return back to the field.
